Andy, there was a girl, a few years older than us. I think her name was Alice Tadlock. She lived over by Damon Bolton.
Her father was a mechanic and was driving somewhere, I don't remember. Well, he came across this Caddy limo pulled over on the shoulder with the hood up and steam boiling. He pulled over and fixed things up and wouldn't charge them anything. So the limo driver says that the person in back insists on getting his name and address so he can send him some sort of thank you. A few weeks later 2 cars pull up in his driveway and he's told one of them, a new Cadillac Sedan DeVille is all his courtesy of Elvis Presley. He still had the car all those years later. All he had for proof was the car and the story. I didn't care one way or another. It's a good story.
